FIDDLIN’ FEST WILL RETURN TO DOWNTOWN ROME OCTOBER 8TH

The annual Fiddlin’ Fest Between the Rivers will return to downtown Rome on Saturday, October 8th from 12 pm to 6 pm.

There will be two stages with live bluegrass music, over 100 craft vendors, pony rides, a car show by the Armuchee Ruritan Club, and more, according to Megan Otwell, the Marketing and Special Events Manager for the Rome Downtown Development Authority.

Admission to Fiddlin’ Fest is free, thanks to the financial support of BID (or the downtown Business Improvement District), Hampton Inn, and River City Bank.

Streets will close on the morning of that event at 7am and reopen by 8pm.

Parking will be offered at the 3rd Ave deck for FREE, as well as the 4th Ave deck.

Fiddlin’ on the River cruises aboard the Roman Holiday will return in 2022 as part of Fiddlin’ Fest festivities.

Downtown retailers will feature sidewalk sales that day, and restaurants will offer food and drink, says Otwell.
