THE 73RD ANNUAL COOSA VALLEY FAIR CONTINUES THROUGH SATURDAY

The 73rd annual Coosa Valley Fair enters day two today. Gates open to the public at 5 pm. Attendees will pay the regular admission price – $5 for those age six and older. Admission is free to those under the age of six. Armbands will be available for purchase at the cost of $25 each for unlimited rides until the fair closes tonight at 10 pm.

Members of the Coosa Valley Fair Association are excited to make memories once again at ‘Fall’s Finest Festival’. Steve White, Vice President, muses that ever since he was a kid, he has always enjoyed checking out the livestock.

Phil Burkhalter, CVFA President, has also enjoyed attending the fair since he was a kid. He adds that the fair’s success is dependent upon teamwork among volunteers.

Thursday will be Kids and Seniors Day at the fair with free admission for all students and seniors ages 55 and up from 1 pm to 5 pm.

The Coosa Valley Fair opened on Tuesday and continues through Saturday at the fairgrounds located at 1400 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. For more details, visit www.coosavalleyfair.com.
