GEORGIA STATE PARKS AND HISTORIC SITES: LEAF WATCH 2022 IS ON!

Fall color is beginning to cover the state of Georgia. The peak usually occurs in late October to early November, according to Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator for Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, who urges the public to check out the Leaf Watch travel planner at www.gastateparks.org.

The ’22 Leaf Watch travel planner includes a list of the Top 10 Parks for Fall Color, an event calendar, and more, adds Hatcher.

Hatcher encourages park visitors to tag their photos of fall color on Instagram with the hashtag #GaStateParks for an opportunity to be featured on the Leaf Watch travel planner.
