NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST CHAMPION ATLANTA BRAVES TO FACE PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES IN NL DIVISION SERIES, WHICH BEGINS TUESDAY AT TRUIST PARK

The National League East champion Atlanta Braves will face a division rival – the Philadelphia Phillies – in their best-of-five NL Division Series, which opens on Tuesday at Truist Park. Game Two will also be played at Truist Park on Wednesday at 4:37 pm, with airtime at 3:20 pm. Game Three will be played in Philadelphia on Friday at a time TBA. Philly will also be the site of Game Four, if needed, on Saturday. Game Five, if necessary, will be played in Atlanta on Sunday.

The Braves begin their quest for a second consecutive World Series title after finishing the ’22 regular season with a record of 101-61 and their fifth straight division title. The Phillies advanced to this division series with a two-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card round during the weekend. They went 87-75 in the regular season and are in the MLB postseason for the first time since 2011.

Atlanta won the regular season series versus Philadelphia by 11-8.
