IT’S THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE IN THE NOVEMBER 8TH GENERAL ELECTION, ADVANCE IN-PERSON VOTING BEGINS ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 17TH

Today is the last day to register to vote in the November 8^th general election. Floyd County residents may register at the county’s Elections Office, located at 18 East 12^th Street in Rome. The office may be reached via phone at (706) 291-5167.

Check your voter registration status and view a sample ballot on the Georgia Secretary of State’s My Voter Page at www.mvp.sos.ga.gov.

Advance in-person voting for this election will begin Monday, October 17^th and continue through Friday, November 4^th from 8 am to 5 pm each weekday at the Elections Office and at the Anthony Recreation Center, 2901 Garden Lakes Boulevard. The Elections Office will also be the site of early voting on Saturday, October 22^nd and Saturday, October 29^th from 9 am to 5 pm and on Sunday, October 23^rd from 1 pm to 5 pm.

The polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8^th, from 7 am until 7 pm.
