Local non-profit Brighter Birthdays seeks volunteer groups to pack bags for distribution to under resourced children in Rome and Floyd County Schools. Cristin Warden, Founder, recommends that families pack party supplies as a community service project.

Both ladies express their gratitude towards those who have assisted with the packs through the years, including school groups, businesses, and community service organizations.
Donations are also being accepted to include party plates and napkins, pens, pencils, tooth brushes, and tooth paste. Promotional items are also welcome, particularly if those would appeal to middle and high school students, asserts Warden.
Financial contributions are also sought; the money will be used to purchase supplies to fill backpacks, says Hale.
