Appointments may be made online starting October 19th for the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center’s Electronics Recycling Event, set for Saturday, November 19th. Items will be accepted from 9 am until 1 pm at the center, located at 412 Lavender Drive in Rome.
Emma Wells, Director of Solid Waste for Floyd County, asserts that this will provide a great opportunity to get rid of old electronics – such as televisions and computers – before Christmas.
Booking an appointment online increases the likelihood of getting exactly the time slot that you want, adds Wells.
Appointments may be made via phone beginning on November 1st by calling the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center at (706) 291-5266.
The November 19th Electronics Recycling Event is open to residents of Rome and Floyd County only.
