THE 10TH ANNUAL WINGS OVER NORTH GEORGIA AIR SHOW IS SET FOR THIS WEEKEND AT ROME’S RUSSELL REGIONAL AIRPORT

The Wings Over North Georgia air show will take to the skies over Rome’s Russell Regional Airport on Saturday and Sunday.

The U.S. Air Force’s A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team will return to WONG for ’22. Staff Sgt. Jacob Stephens, a native of Buford, Georgia, says that his team looks forward to demonstrating the capabilities of the ‘Warthog’ before local air show fans.

The performer line-up for this 10th annual air show will additionally include Scott Farnsworth and Jerry ‘Jive’ Kirby. Attendees will also witness the debut of the Airshow Racing Series. John Cowman, the President of JLC Airshow Management, asserts that many firsts in the air show industry during the past decade have originated right here in Rome.
