Floyd County 4-H Club is proud of our Senior 4-H Member, Abby Moon, 9th grader at Model High School for winning first place at the 2022 Georgia 4-H Pantry Pride Recipe Contest. Abby was one of the top 16 students recognized for their recipe submission and was invited to the Cook-Off at Georgia National Fair on October 9, 2022. Abby was awarded a first-place ribbon, trophy and her recipe will be featured in the 4-H digital cookbook. Recipes and dishes were judged on use of food bank items, appeal, creativity, flavor, technique, budget and time limit. Floyd County 4-H is proud of Abby as she continues to strive to “make the best better” and “learn by doing.”
