ROME-FLOYD COUNTY COMMISSION ON CHILDREN AND YOUTH TO HOST ’22 FLOYD COUNTY TEEN MAZE THIS WEEK, PREVIEW SET FOR TONIGHT AT GHC

The Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth will host the ’22 Floyd County Teen Maze this week at Georgia Highlands College’s Floyd County campus, 3175 Cedartown Highway, in the Main Gym.

The life-sized Teen Maze takes high school Freshmen on a journey towards graduation. They are faced with real-life challenges that can pose a threat to their ability to make it to the finish line, asserts LaDonna Collins, Executive Director of the RFCCCY.

A Preview Night will be hosted at the maze this evening from 6 pm to 7 pm. Collins invites the community to attend, particularly high school sophomores and juniors that have not already experienced the Teen Maze since that event was on a hiatus over the past couple of years.

Those who plan to attend the Preview Night event are asked to arrive no later than 5:50 pm.

The Floyd County Teen Maze is made possible through a partnership among the Rome-Floyd County Commission on Children and Youth, GHC, and the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Northwest Health District.
