HISTORIC DESOTO THEATRE FOUNDATION TO BENEFIT FROM ‘HARMONY IN THE HILLS’ FEATURING THE ATLANTA VOCAL PROJECT ON SATURDAY NIGHT

The Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation will benefit from ‘Harmony in the Hills’ featuring the Atlanta Vocal Project, slated for this Saturday, October 22nd at 7:30 pm at the DeSoto Theatre, 530 Broad Street in downtown Rome. Berry College’s Berry Voices will be the special guests.

Attendees will enjoy an evening of barbershop music, enthuses Leanne Cook, member of the HDTF Board of Directors. Rufus Massey, who has ties to both Berry College and the Atlanta Vocal Project, will join the performance.

Tickets are available at www.thedesoto.org and range from $15 for student tickets all the way up to $100 for VIP with preferred seating and admission to a patron party prior to the show.

Proceeds from this event will go towards HDTF’s continued renovation of the historic theatre, which first opened in 1929.

HDTF will team with the Rome International Film Festival this Friday night for a benefit screening of ‘Spirit Halloween’ at the DeSoto.
