The Atlanta Hawks opened their 2022-23 regular season on Wednesday night with a win on their home court at State Farm Arena over the Houston Rockets by a final score of 117-107.
John Collins scored a game-high 24 points for Atlanta. Trae Young notched 23 points and 13 assists. De’Andre Hunter contributed 22 points, and Hawks newcomer Dejounte Murray had 20 points and 11 assists.
The Hawks will remain at home this Friday night to host the Orlando Magic. Tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
