FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS, WEEK 10

It is time for Friday night lights as area high school football teams take the field for week 10 of the 2022 regular season.

Tune into WLAQ 1410 AM or 96.9 FM for Darlington football as the Tigers head out to Armuchee for a Region 7-A Division 1 match against the Indians. Kick off is scheduled for 7:30 pm; airtime is 7 pm. Listen via radio, online at www.wlaq1410.com, or via the TuneIn app.

Darlington head coach Tommy Atha told WLAQ Sports that he anticipates a challenging and (even emotional) game between the Tigers and Indians since Jeremy Green announced earlier on this week that he intends to step down as Armuchee’s head football coach at the end of this season.

Listen to This Week in Northwest Georgia Football, sponsored by Riverside Auto Group, on WLAQ at 5 pm this evening. And stay tuned after tonight’s game for the High School Football Scoreboard Show, sponsored by the Rome Orthopaedic Center.
