ADVANCE IN-PERSON VOTING IN THE NOVEMBER 8TH GENERAL ELECTION CONTINUES THIS WEEK

Advance in-person voting for the November 8th general election enters week two (of three) this week.

Floyd County voters may cast their early ballots any week day from 8 am to 5 pm through Friday, November 4th at the county’s Elections Office, 18 East 12th Street in Rome, or at the Anthony Recreation Center, 2901 Garden Lakes Boulevard. The Elections Office will also offer early voting on Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Local polls will be open on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8th, from 7 am until 7 pm.

Friday, October 28th is the last day to submit an absentee ballot; ballots must arrive by mail, e-mail, or delivered in person by 5 pm, according to the Floyd County Elections Office.

Early voting began last Monday for the general election. Georgia voters will choose a Governor and a US Senator. US House District 14 is also up for a vote, along with other state/local races.
