ATLANTA HAWKS WRAP UP SEASON-OPENING HOMESTAND WITH LOSS TO CHARLOTTE HORNETS

The Atlanta Hawks wrapped up their season-opening homestand with a loss to the Charlotte Hornets by 126-109 on Sunday at State Farm Arena.

Trae Young had a game-high 28 points for the Hawks, who went 2-1 on their homestand; he was among six Atlanta players to score into the double digits.

Kelly Oubre, Jr. had a team-high 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Hornets, who are also now 2-1.

The Hawks will open their first road trip of the 2022-2023 regular season on Wednesday night with the first of two back-to-back outings up in Detroit, MI versus the Pistons. Tip off is scheduled for 7 pm.
