ATLANTA HAWKS OPEN ROAD TRIP WITH WIN IN DETROIT OVER PISTONS

The Atlanta Hawks opened a five-game road trip on Wednesday evening with a 118-113 win over the Detroit Pistons in the first of two back-to-back games at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI.

Trae Young notched a game-high 35 points for the Hawks, who improved to 3-1 on the season. John Collins contributed 19 points and 11 rebounds. They were among six Atlanta players to score into the double digits.

Bojan Bogdanovic scored a team-high 33 points for the Pistons, who are now 1-4. Cade Cunningham had 26 points.

The Hawks and the Pistons will meet again on Friday night up in Detroit. Tip off is set for 7 pm.
