ROME-FLOYD CHAMBER’S BUSINESS EXPO RETURNS TO THE FORUM RIVER CENTER THIS THURSDAY

Returning to the Forum River Center in downtown Rome this Thursday – the Rome-Floyd Chamber’s Business Expo! The in-person event will return after a two-year hiatus and will be open to the public from noon to 4 pm.

Pam Powers-Smith, President and CEO, states that the Expo will look almost the same as it did in previous years.

A wide variety of businesses will have booths at Expo 2022, including some new Chamber members. There will also be plenty of food, indicates Powers-Smith.

Expo attendees will have opportunities to purchase items from local vendors and check out a job market.

Admission is $5; tickets may be purchased at the door. All proceeds will fuel the Chamber’s annual Shop Rome campaign to encourage citizens to support small businesses in Rome and Floyd County, says Powers-Smith.

Admission is free to students with a college ID. Parking will be free in the 3rd Avenue deck for the event. Get more details by searching for 2022 Business Expo on Facebook or at www.romega.com.

An After Hours event will be held at the 2022 Business Expo for members of the Chamber on Thursday at 5 pm, adds Powers-Smith.
