SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER OF NWGA TO BENEFIT FROM UNDERGROUND ROME FALL TOURS SET FOR SATURDAY

(From the Sexual Assault Center of NWGA):

The Sexual Assault Center of NWGA and the Rome Area History Center welcome locals to a tour of underground Rome to learn about its unique architectural history. The annual Rome Underground tours are set for this Saturday. Participants will tour below the following buildings: Broad&Fifth (The Forrest Place building), Rome Area History Center, Blue Sky Outfitters, and John Henry’s Grill. Tours will take place from 9:00am until 4:20pm in 20 minute increments.

All proceeds support and fund the vital work of the Sexual Assault Center of Northwest Georgia.

Selena Tilly, Director and Historian of the Rome Area History Center, looks forward to teaming up with the Sexual Assault Center of NWGA again this year.

*Participants must be able to walk unassisted on uneven ground and stairs.
*Participants must wear closed toe shoes.
