SALVATION ARMY OF ROME NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR ANGEL TREE PROGRAM, SEEKING BELL RINGERS FOR THEIR RED KETTLE CAMPAIGN OVER THE HOLIDAY SEASON

The Salvation Army of Rome is accepting applications through November 22nd for the 2022 Angel Tree program. The program is available to families to supplement Christmas gifts for children ages birth to 12 years. An Angel Tree also exists for seniors age 65 and up.

Applications are accepted IN PERSON ONLY on Tuesdays and Thursdays

between the hours of 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 3 pm at The Salvation Army of Rome office, located at 317 East 1st Avenue in Rome, says Captain Paula Blevins.

Bell ringers are also sought for the ’22 Red Kettle campaign. They may serve as a volunteer or as a seasonal paid employee, states Captain Tim Blevins.

The Red Kettle campaign will begin over the weekend of Thanksgiving and will continue until just before Christmas. Proceeds will support the Salvation Army of Rome’s basic operating expenses throughout the year.
