ATLANTA HAWKS SNAP MILWAUKEE BUCKS’ SEASON-OPENING WINNING STREAK

The Atlanta Hawks beat the Milwaukee Bucks 117-98 on Monday evening at State Farm Arena; it was the third straight win for the Hawks and brought the Bucks’ season opening winning streak to an end at nine straight games.

Dejounte Murray notched a team-high 25 points for Atlanta. AJ Griffin added 24 points off of the bench. They were among six Atlanta players to score into the double digits. Trae Young was sidelined with shin soreness.

Milwaukee was led in scoring by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who additionally scored 25 points.

The Hawks improved to 7-3 on the 22-23 regular season. They will continue their current four-game homestand this Wednesday night as hosts to the Utah Jazz; tip off is slated for 7:30 pm.
