ATLANTA HAWKS’ LATEST WINNING STREAK ENDS WITH LOSS AT HOME TO UTAH JAZZ

The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the Utah Jazz 125-119 in NBA action on Wednesday night at State Farm Arena. It brought Atlanta’s latest winning streak to an end at three straight games and extended Utah’s current winning streak to four in a row.

Dejounte Murray scored a team-high 26 points for the Hawks. Trae Young and DeAndre Hunter each had 22 points. Clint Capela and John Collins both scored 15 points; Capela also had 19 rebounds.

Lauri Markkanen led all players in scoring with a total of 32 points for the Jazz.

The Hawks are now 7-4 on the 2022-23 regular season. They will wrap up their current four-game homestand tonight versus the Philadelphia 76ers; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
