CAVE SPRING, GA TO USHER IN THE HOLIDAY SEASON WITH A HANDFUL OF EVENTS IN THE COMING WEEKS TO INCLUDE THIS WEEKEND’S CHRISTMAS OPEN HOUSE

Cave Spring, GA will usher in the holiday season with a handful of events in the coming weeks.

The first of those events, Christmas Open House, is on tap for this Saturday and Sunday, November 12th and 13th. It is hosted annually by the Cave Spring Merchants Association as a way to encourage locals and visitors to shop at Cave Spring businesses during the holiday season. Several businesses will offer special deals and treats to shoppers.

Larry Dolan, Executive Director of the Cave Spring Downtown Development Authority, attests that there are some great stores in downtown Cave Spring.

Among the participating businesses in Christmas Open House – The Peddler, which will offer refreshments and chances to win door prizes throughout the weekend. Curtis Burch will conduct bow and ribbon demonstrations for the holidays on Saturday at 1 pm.

The 19th annual Small Town Christmas in the Country is slated to take place during the first weekend in December at Rolator Park in Cave Spring. That event’s hours are 9 am until 4 pm on Saturday, December 3rd and 12 pm until 4 pm on Sunday, December 4th.

Dolan encourages attendees of that event to check out the booth hosted by Susan Childers and Amanda Smith, event organizers, for home-canned jams, jellies, preserves, and more.

The annual Christmas Parade will be held in downtown Cave Spring on the evening of Saturday, December 3rd at 6 pm.
