ATLANTA BRAVES’ MICHAEL HARRIS II NAMED NATIONAL LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

In news from the Atlanta Braves, Michael Harris II won the National League Rookie of the Year Award for ’22. He received the most votes from members of the Baseball Writers’ Association of America, while his teammate Spencer Strider came in second. It marks the first time that teammates have finished first and second in balloting since former Braves Craig Kimbrel and Freddie Freeman in 2011.
