The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team lost to Utah 68-64 on Monday night in the Fort Myers Tip Off down in Fort Myers, FL. It was the Yellow Jackets’ first loss after three straight wins to open the 2022-23 season.
Gabe Madsen led all players in scoring with 16 points for the Utes, who will now head to the championship game this Wednesday night at 8:30 pm against Mississippi State.
The Jackets were led in scoring by Deivon Smith, who had 15 points. Deebo Coleman and Ja’von Franklin each notched 11 points.
