Concerns over inclement weather led to the postponement of the 2022 Rome Christmas Parade by the parade committee from Tuesday night to Thursday night. The parade, themed ‘The Joys of Christmas’, will traverse Broad Street in downtown Rome at 6:30 pm.
The Rome Downtown Development Authority has announced that the parade will now serve as the kick off for their ‘Rome for the Holidays’. Trolley rides with Santa Claus will now be held on December 8th (in addition to the Candy Cane Hunt) and on December 15th.
