Winter is an ideal time for optimal views at Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites, indicates Kim Hatcher, Public Affairs Coordinator. She adds that along with open views, visitors may find it easier to make reservations; those parks were overwhelmed with leaf-peepers throughout the Fall.
