RUN-OFF ELECTION IS ON THE BOOKS

The December 6th run-off election in Georgia to determine a post on the US Senate is now on the books. According to results from the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office just before 1 am this morning, incumbent Raphael Warnock, a Democrat, won with 51.28 percent of the vote across the state. Challenger Herschel Walker, a Republican, received 48.72 percent.

Walker tallied the most votes in Floyd County with 70.52 percent compared to 29.48 percent for Warnock.
