In arts and entertainment news for the holidays –
The Three Rivers Singers will be accompanied by the Atlanta Festival Brass for ‘Magical Musical Moments of Christmas’ this Saturday, December 17th at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church of Rome, 100 East Fourth Avenue.
Len Willingham, Director, says that the concert will feature a blend of secular and sacred Christmas music.
The concert will start with “Hark The Herald Angels Sing” and conclude with a carol sing and “Feliz Navidad”, enthuses Willingham.
Virginia McChesney, who serves as the President of the Three Rivers Singers Board of Directors, attests that Rome, GA is blessed to have so many musical opportunities to get into the holiday spirit.

And in holiday festivities on tap for this evening, the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation will host a Polar Pajama Party at 6 pm over at the DeSoto Theatre in downtown Rome. Admission is $8 each. For details, search for that event on Facebook.
