The Floyd County Schools College and Career Academy hosted a Showcase that was open to the public on Monday evening.
The Showcase’s purpose was to highlight how CCA pathways connect to industry credentials (such as a certification, diploma, or college degree) and how it all leads to a meaningful career for students, as indicated by Dr. John
Rhodarmer, Principal and CEO, in a recent interview on WLAQ.
The juniors and seniors from Armuchee, Coosa, Model, and Pepperell High Schools that attend the academy learn about engineering and robotics, health care, agriculture, film, criminal justice, and more, added Dr. Rhodarmer.
Along with these career pathways, the FCS CCA offers advanced academic opportunities, asserted Jenny Wear, Assistant Principal.
