Locals in search of thrills and chills to start the year 2023 are invited by the Cave Spring Historical Society to participate in the Cave Spring Polar Plunge on Sunday, January 1st at Rolater Lake. Registration begins at 12:30 pm with the jump set for 1:30 pm.
The event is a fundraiser for the Cave Spring Historical Society, according to Larry Dolan, Executive Director for Cave Spring’s Downtown Development Authority. The cost to participate is $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the event. Jumpers will be treated to a traditional New Year’s Day meal after they take the plunge.
