ATLANTA HAWKS EDGED BY BROOKLYN NETS

The Atlanta Hawks were edged by the Brooklyn Nets 108-107 on Wednesday night at State Farm Arena.

Kyrie Irving notched a game-high 28 points for the Nets, who won their 10th straight game and took a 2-0 lead in the four-game season series between the teams. Kevin Durant added 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Dejounte Murray notched a team-high 24 points for the short-handed Hawks, who have lost two in a row. John Collins had 21 points.

The Hawks are now 17-18 on the 2022-23 regular season. They will wrap up their current two-game homestand on Friday evening with a match versus the Los Angeles Lakers; tip off is slated for 7:30 pm.
