The MLK Commission of Rome/Northwest Georgia have announced plans for the 2023 MLK Weekend Celebration to honor the late civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
Activities will begin next Friday, January 13th with a talent showcase at the Rome City Auditorium. There will additionally be a Family Prayer Breakfast next Saturday, January 14th and an Ecumenical Service during the evening of Sunday, January 15th. This celebration will culminate with a Freedom March on MLK Day, Monday, January 16th.
