CHIEFTAINS MUSEUM/MAJOR RIDGE HOME TO BENEFIT FROM MARDI GRAS SPECTACULAR ON FEBRUARY 18TH

The Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home will benefit from the Mardi Gras Spectacular, presented by Friends of Chieftains and Louisiana Hot Sauce, on the evening of Saturday, February 18th at the Coosa Country Club in Rome. Doors will open at 6:30 pm with dinner at 7 pm.

Scott Thompson and the Clocktower of Power Band will provide the musical entertainment. The dress is ‘festive cocktail’, and there will be a prize for the best Mardi Gras mask.

Individual tickets are $100 each; that includes dinner and two drink tickets. Host committee tickets and tables are $300 and $1,000, respectively. Tickets may be purchased online at www.chieftainsmuseum.org.

Cameron Abney, a member of the museum’s Board of Directors, says that last year’s inaugural Mardi Gras event sold out. So get you tickets for this year’s event soon and laissez les bons temps rouler!

Proceeds will support the Chieftains Museum/Major Ridge Home, a National Historic Landmark and one of a few private entities certified by the National Park Service as a site on the Trail of Tears.

Chieftains will additionally benefit from the sales of Mardi Gras Spectacular raffle tickets. Those ticket holders have an opportunity to win $1,000. Those tickets are $25 each. Participants do not have to be in attendance at the event to win the raffle.
