GEORGIA TECH MEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM BESTED IN OVERTIME BY NOTRE DAME

The Georgia Tech men’s basketball team was edged by Notre Dame by 73-72 in overtime on Tuesday night in an ACC battle at South Bend, Indiana.

Kyle Sturdivant scored a team-high 18 points for the Yellow Jackets. Deivon Smith had 16 points and 10 rebounds.

Dane Goodwin led all players in scoring with 19 points for the Fighting Irish, who picked up their first conference win of the year.

The Yellow Jackets are now 8-8 overall and 1-5 in ACC action for the 2022-23 season. They will return to their home court at the McCamish Pavilion on the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta this Saturday as hosts to Pittsburgh. Tip off is scheduled for 3 pm.
