The community is invited to attend the ribbon cutting for Parks Hoke Park this afternoon at 1 pm. We will celebrate the improvements made to the park with funding from 2017 SPLOST contributions as well as funding from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
Improvements include:
• New Basketball Pavilion with Sky Lights
• New Restrooms at the Pavilion
• New Event Staging Area
• Renovation of Parking Lot on Nixon Avenue – 39 Parking Spots
• Lighting Improvements Throughout Park
• Repaired/repainted Fencing
• Expanded Concrete Surface for Special Events / Staging
Shelby’s Coffee will be onsite to serve coffees and hot drinks compliments of South Rome Alliance!
