ATLANTA HAWKS OPEN ROAD TRIP WITH LOSS IN PORTLAND, OR TO TRAIL BLAZERS

The Atlanta Hawks opened a five-game road trip with a loss in Portland, OR to the Trail Blazers by 129-125 on Monday night. It marked the second loss in a row for Atlanta.

Damian Lillard scored a game-high 42 points for the Trail Blazers in this first meeting between the teams of the season.

The Hawks were led in scoring by Dejounte Murray with 40 points. Bogdan Bogdanovic had 23 points off the bench.

The Hawks are now 25-26 on the 2022-2023 regular season. They will begin the month of February with a match in Phoenix, Arizona against the Suns this Wednesday night; tip off is scheduled for 10 pm Eastern.
