The Atlanta Hawks lost to the Charlotte Hornets 144-138 on Monday night at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. That allowed Charlotte to take the four game season series between the teams by 3-1.
LaMelo Ball had a game-high 30 points and 15 assists for the Hornets, who snapped a seven-game losing skid.
Trae Young had a team-high 25 points and 14 assists for the Hawks, who saw their latest winning streak come to an end at two straight games.
The Hawks are now 29-29 on the 2022-2023 regular season. They will open a five-game homestand this Wednesday evening with a match versus the New York Knicks; tip off is set for 7:30 pm at State Farm Arena.
