HOSPITALITY HOUSE THRIFT STORE SEEKS DONATIONS, SHOPPERS, AND VOLUNTEERS

Has the Spring-like weather we have experienced this week motivated you to do some Spring cleaning? Take your gently-used stuff over to the Hospitality House Thrift Store on Shorter Avenue in Rome!

Alice Towe, Store Manager, says that Spring and Summer clothes are being accepted at this time, along with housewares and furniture.

In addition to donations, Towe says that the store welcomes shoppers! Hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Volunteers are constantly sought, states Towe, who adds that there is a job for everyone at the Hospitality House Thrift Store.

Towe adds that the store has seen an uptick in visitors and donations with the recent rise in temperatures.

The public is encouraged by Towe to visit Hospitality House Thrift Store on Facebook for updates on store specials.

All proceeds from the store support the Hospitality House for Women, Inc.’s mission to serve victims of domestic violence. For more information on the local non-profit, visit www.hospitalityhouseforwomen.org.
