(Announcement from Floyd County, GA):
Floyd County Public Works will be closing a section of Wax Road to repair a failed cross drain beginning Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. To avoid the work zone, traffic will need to detour at Tremont Drive and Preacher Smith Road. Citizens traveling to Laugh and Learn Children’s Academy will need to enter from Rockmart Highway/Hwy 101 to access the parking lot.
Public Works will be closing a section of Old Dalton Road to repair a cross drain beginning Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. Traffic will be restricted to one lane located at 3681 Old Dalton Road. Work is expected to be completed by Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., but traffic could be impacted overnight.
