Georgia Tech edged Florida State 61-60 on Tuesday in the opening round of the ACC Tournament at Greensboro, NC.
A late free throw from Ja’Von Franklin lifted the Yellow Jackets to victory. Miles Kelly scored a game-high 21 points.
The 13th seeded Jackets will face fifth-seeded Pittsburgh in the next round of the tournament today at 2:30 pm. That outing will be broadcast on WLAQ 1410 AM and 96.9 FM; airtime is 2 pm by the Georgia Tech Sports Network from Legends Sports.
