ATLANTA HAWKS TAKE THE OPENER OF A TWO-GAME SET IN DC VERSUS WASHINGTON WIZARDS

The Atlanta Hawks defeated the Washington Wizards 122-120 on Wednesday night in the first meeting of a two-game set in Washington DC.

Trae Young notched a team-high 28 points and had 10 assists for the Hawks, who snapped a two-game losing skid.

Kristaps Porzingis reached a career-high with a game-high 43 points for the Wizards.

The Hawks are back at .500 with a record of 33-33 on the 2022-2023 regular season. They will face the Wizards again on Friday night in DC; tip off is set for 7 pm.
