HAWKS DROP OUTING IN SAN ANTONIO TO SPURS

The Atlanta Hawks were defeated by the San Antonio Spurs 126-118 in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday. That resulted in a 1-1 tie in the two-game season series between the teams.

Dejounte Murray had a team-high 22 points for the Hawks in his first outing at San Antonio since being traded by the Spurs to Atlanta in the offseason.

Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell led all players in scoring with 29 points a piece for the Spurs, who rallied from a 24-point deficit to get the win.

The Hawks are now 35-36 on the 2022-2023 regular season. They will return to their home court at State Farm Arena in Atlanta this Tuesday night as hosts to the Detroit Pistons; tip off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
