ATLANTA BRAVES EXTEND SPRING TRAINING WINNING STREAK TO FIVE IN A ROW WITH WIN OVER DETROIT TIGERS

The Atlanta Braves beat the Detroit Tigers 5-3 on Wednesday afternoon in a Spring Training match at Lakeland, Florida. It was the fifth consecutive win for Atlanta. Highlights included the Grapefruit League debut of pitcher Mike Soroka. Orlando Arcia contributed four RBIs, including a three-run homer in the top of the sixth inning.

The Braves will host the New York Mets this afternoon at CoolToday Park in North Port, FL; first pitch is scheduled for 1:05 pm.
