The Atlanta Braves picked up a trio of wins in Spring Training action during the weekend. They were the victors in a pair of split squad games versus the Minnesota Twins by identical scores of 9-4 in North Port, FL and Fort Myers, FL on Saturday afternoon. They beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 8-1 on Sunday in North Port. Austin Riley and Eddie Rosario each contributed solo home runs, and Spencer Strider was credited with the win in that outing.
The Braves will play their next-to-last Grapefruit League match of 2023 this afternoon as hosts to the Boston Red Sox at 1:05 pm.
