(Announcement from Floyd County Public Works):
Floyd County Public Works will close Padlock Mountain Road to replace two failed cross drains beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. The closure will be from #7 Georgia Avenue to #23 Padlock Mountain Road. Only local Padlock Mountain Road residents will have access inside the work zone. The detour route to avoid the construction zone will be Glenn Road and Davis Road during this time. Work is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
