Rome’s baseball team will celebrate its 20th season this year. Justin Franklin, Coordinator of Marketing and Media Relations, enthuses that fans will enjoy giveaways and even an alumni event in July.
Many former Rome Braves have gone on to play for the Atlanta Braves, like Vaughn Grissom and Michael Harris II, observes Franklin, who adds that the local team has also enjoyed rehab appearances from big stars such as Hall of Famer Chipper Jones.
