AUSTIN RILEY HOMERS AGAIN, DYLAN DODD PICKS UP THE WIN IN HIS MLB DEBUT AS ATLANTA BRAVES TOP CARDINALS IN ST. LOUIS

The Atlanta Braves beat the St. Louis Cardinals 4-1 on Tuesday night in the middle outing of a three-game set at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, MO. That allowed Atlanta to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Austin Riley hit a two-run homer, his second home run of the season, to get the Braves on the board in the top of the first inning. Orlando Arcia clubbed a solo shot in the second.

Sean Murphy had an RBI single which drove Travis d’Arnaud to home plate to score the Braves’ fourth run of the night during the third.

Dylan Dodd picked up the win in his major league debut after giving up just one run and six hits, walking none, and striking out three over five innings of work. AJ Minter got the save.
