The Atlanta Braves fell to the San Diego Padres 10-2 on Sunday night in the finale of a four-game set at Truist Park. That allowed San Diego to take the series 3-1.
Nelson Cruz led the charge for the Padres with a total of six RBIs, including a three-run homer in the third inning.
The Braves scored their two runs on a fielder’s choice by Ronald Acuna Jr. in the fifth and an RBI single from Matt Olson in the seventh.
Dylan Dodd was charged with the loss for Atlanta after giving up seven runs and 10 hits, walking one, and striking out three over four and a third innings. Seth Lugo was credited with the win for San Diego.
