MURPHY LIFTS ATLANTA BRAVES TO WALK-OFF WIN OVER CINCINNATI REDS AT TRUIST PARK

The Atlanta Braves nabbed a walk-off victory over the Cincinnati Reds by a final score of 5-4 in 10 innings on Monday evening in the opener of a three-game set at Truist Park. That allowed the Braves to snap a three-game losing skid.

Sean Murphy was the hero of the night with a two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th; it was his first regular season home run as a Brave.

Murphy drove in a total of three runs, as he also had an RBI double that got the Braves on the board in the sixth.

The Braves and the Reds will meet again this evening at 7:20 pm. Listen on WLAQ 1410 AM/96.9 FM; airtime is 6:05 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.
