The Coosa River Basin Initiative is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2023. The local 501c3 grassroots environmental organization has been on a mission to protect, preserve, and restore the biologically diverse upper Coosa River basin throughout the past three decades.
Jesse Demonbreun-Chapman, Executive Director, encourages the public to join the CRBI’s 30th Anniversary Paddle Trip on Saturday, April 22nd – Earth Day – on the Etowah River. Information is available at www.coosa.org and on the CRBI’s social media outlets.
The six-mile paddle will make its way down the Etowah from Hardin Bridge to Neel’s Landing off US 411. It is suitable for all ages and skill levels.
